4-Day Intensive Training Course

Overview

In this module students discovered how to use hypnotic language patterns in and out of trance to help clients make desired changes. Dr. Milton Erickson was known for his unique approach to therapy with his direct, artfully vague, permissive, and confusional techniques. Students learnt how to create and use a variety of carefully crafted metaphors and stories for use with clients.

  • How to create and use Ericksonian-style Task and Ordeal Therapy

This intensive four-day module taught how to build deep levels of rapport. Students learnt how to use hypnotic language patterns, metaphor, confusion, and indirect hypnosis. Erickson used original and imaginative therapeutic approaches to help people make changes to their feelings and behaviour.

Training resources were provided with each module along with practical and written assignments.
